Nanjing Zijin Hospital has been upgraded to a tertiary rehabilitation hospital

January 30, 2022, Jiangsu Commission of Health issued a document confirming Nanjing Zijin Hospital and one other hospital as tertiary rehabilitation hospitals, integrating them into the tertiary hospital management system.

Our hospital was awarded third prize in the 2021 Nursing Quality Improvement Project Competition.

To further advance high-quality nursing care, continuously enhance nursing service capabilities, and effectively ensure patient safety, the “Nursing Quality Improvement Project” competition, organized by the Nanjing Municipal Social Medical Association, officially kicked off on the afternoon of January 6. The on-site competition was both dynamic and engaging, with participants demonstrating composure, confidence, and clear articulation. Following fierce competition, our hospital’s project, “In-Hospital Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management,” stood out and was awarded third place.

Our hospital’s nursing case has been honored as one of the “Top Ten Innovative Cases.”

In 2021, the Nanjing Municipal Health Commission, in collaboration with Yangtze Evening News, launched a special call for submissions titled “2021 Red Hearts Toward the Party: Nursing Chronicles.” Following rigorous evaluation by a professional panel comprising representatives from the Nanjing Municipal Health Commission, the Nanjing Nursing Association, and the media, the event recognized ten outstanding innovative cases. Among them was “A Veteran Party Member, the Patient’s Skin Repair Specialist,” authored by Fan Yinghua of the Nursing Department at Nanjing Zijin Hospital.

Competitive recruitment for management positions boosts team vitality! On the afternoon of January 5, our hospital held a public presentation and interview session, conducting open recruitment for seven managerial posts, including the head therapist of the Rehabilitation Therapy Center.

Our hospital has conducted training on the prevention and control of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.

To further enhance healthcare workers’ awareness of infection prevention and control, strengthen the prevention and management of multidrug-resistant organisms, effectively curb their nosocomial transmission, and ensure the safety of both patients and staff, the Hospital Infection Control Department recently invited Director Lao Yiqun from Nanjing First Hospital to deliver training on multidrug-resistant organism–related knowledge to our hospital’s medical personnel.

With “doctor–patient communication” as its theme, the event employed a lighthearted competitive format to combine education with entertainment, enhancing the communication skills of healthcare professionals and striving to create a comfortable medical environment for patients.
