January 30, 2022, Jiangsu Commission of Health issued a document confirming Nanjing Zijin Hospital and one other hospital as tertiary rehabilitation hospitals, integrating them into the tertiary hospital management system. Consequently, Nanjing Zijin Hospital has become the first tertiary rehabilitation hospital in Nanjing.
