Our hospital has conducted training on the prevention and control of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.
To further enhance healthcare workers’ awareness of infection prevention and control, strengthen the prevention and management of multidrug-resistant organisms, effectively curb their nosocomial transmission, and ensure the safety of both patients and staff, the Hospital Infection Control Department recently invited Director Lao Yiqun from Nanjing First Hospital to deliver training on multidrug-resistant organism–related knowledge to our hospital’s medical personnel.
To further enhance healthcare workers’ awareness of infection prevention and control, strengthen the prevention and management of multidrug-resistant organisms, effectively curb their nosocomial transmission, and ensure the safety of both patients and staff, the Hospital Infection Control Department recently invited Director Lao Yiqun from Nanjing First Hospital to conduct training on multidrug-resistant organism–related knowledge for our hospital’s medical personnel.
This training session covered topics such as the prevention and control of multidrug-resistant organism infections, infection prevention and control in intensive care units, and the management of medical waste associated with multidrug-resistant organisms, providing participants with substantial benefits.
Finally, Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President of our hospital, drew on the content of this training to once again underscore the critical importance of preventing and controlling multidrug-resistant organisms. He urged all departments to rigorously implement infection control measures, ensuring that efforts to prevent and manage multidrug-resistant pathogens are effectively put into practice, thereby safeguarding the hospital’s medical quality and patient safety.
