On the morning of April 18, 2024, a delegation of seven—including Fang Jie, President of Xiamen Hong’ai Rehabilitation Hospital, a Level-III rehabilitation hospital; Vice President Chen Jian; and heads of various departments—visited Nanjing Zijin Hospital (Jiangning Campus) for an exchange and tour.

“Journey to the West,” “Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” Zhu Yuanzhang, Wang Yong, the SF Express delivery driver, the evolution of trains and high-speed rail, the Russia–Ukraine conflict—these seemingly unrelated stories, figures, case studies, and current events were skillfully woven together by Zeng Zhi, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Health Economics and Management of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Drawing on the distinctive features of hospital organizational structures, he delivered a special lecture to senior and mid-level managers and key departmental leaders at Nanjing Zijin Hospital, focusing on “Cultivating Exceptional Leadership in the New Era and Enhancing Effective Execution.” The entire afternoon-long session was not only engaging and entertaining but also profoundly thought‑provoking.
