In response to the call of the “World Coma Day—Hope for Awakening” campaign, jointly organized by the Disorders of Consciousness Branch of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience, the Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, and the Coma and Wake‑Promotion Group of the Neurorepair Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, on March 22 experts in coma and consciousness research, neurocritical care, and neurological rehabilitation from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, and other cities held a series of specialized lectures and academic discussions—primarily via online video conferencing—focusing on the latest advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and basic research of coma and disorders of consciousness resulting from brain injury.
