At 6:00 p.m. on February 9, Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President of our hospital, was invited to appear on Jiangsu Radio and Television’s program “Medical Panorama,” where he discussed stroke prevention, identification, and treatment with the public.
On February 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President of our hospital, was invited to appear on the “Medical Panorama” program of Jiangsu Radio and Television Station, where he provided public education on stroke prevention, identification, and treatment. “Medical Panorama” is a multimedia science‑communication program jointly produced by Jiangsu Radio and Television Station, the Jiangsu Association of Privately Operated Medical Institutions, and the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology. It serves as an innovative platform for enhancing public health literacy and supporting the development of “Healthy Jiangsu.”

The program focuses on comprehensive, life-cycle–wide health management for stroke patients. Dean Gao engaged the audience in a one-hour discussion, using clear, accessible language that was both insightful and easy to understand.

Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang began by providing a public‑health overview of stroke, covering its definition, current incidence and trends, and contributing risk factors—topics of great interest to the audience. He then offered a clear, concise explanation of the “FAST” method for rapid stroke identification, making it easy for listeners to quickly grasp and remember.

During the Q&A session, Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang offered several treatment recommendations and precautions based on the patients’ conditions.

During the program, Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang also provided public education on topics such as the golden treatment window for stroke, the significance and methods of rehabilitation therapy, and common misconceptions about stroke. He went on to provide explanations and introductions on the “China Nanjing Consciousness Recovery Scale” and the specialized hyperbaric oxygen therapy at Nanjing Zijin Hospital.


At the conclusion of the program, Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang provided public education on dietary recommendations for stroke patients and stroke prevention. In response to audience inquiries, he also announced his expert outpatient clinic hours: Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Jiangning Campus.
Nanjing Zijin Hospital has consistently been committed to promoting medical science education, and more outstanding healthcare professionals will appear on public‑health programs, contributing to the enhancement of the nation’s health literacy.
