Purple Medicine Brings Us Together to Celebrate a New Journey

A galaxy of distinguished guests graces this grand event, while a sea of esteemed attendees radiates with starlight.
Experts, professors, friends from all walks of life, and all the staff of Nanjing Zijin Hospital—hailing from Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital, Nanjing Gulou Hospital, the Eastern Theater Command General Hospital, Nanjing First Hospital, Nanjing Brain Hospital, Nanjing Mingji Hospital, Jiangning Hospital affiliated with Nanjing Medical University, Yifu Hospital affiliated with Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing Children’s Hospital, and hospitals across the country—raised their glasses together to joyfully welcome the New Year.

Before the gala began, Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, took to the stage to deliver a year-end summary address. She first extended her heartfelt gratitude to friends from all sectors of society who have supported the hospital’s development, as well as to every dedicated member of the Zijin medical team. She then reviewed the hospital’s progress and achievements in 2024, highlighting three key qualities: the courage to blaze new trails, the confidence to pursue ambitious goals, and the determination to deliver tangible results. In closing, she pledged that in 2025, the hospital will forge ahead with even greater vigor and a more pragmatic approach, working together to build an even brighter future for Nanjing Zijin Hospital.

On stage, the elegantly poised and confident hosts are Dr. Wang Huihan, Nurse Ding Xujia, and Rehabilitation Therapist Chen Xinyi—working tirelessly on the clinical front lines (from left to right).

The red-clad knight, steeped in ancient charm and brimming with heroic spirit, hails from the rehabilitation team at the Rehabilitation Treatment Center; the graceful dancers of “Golden Breeze and Jade Dew,” their movements light and fluid, come from the medical staff of the Jiangning Campus, dedicated to saving lives and helping the injured; the lively, energetic young women leaping with vitality are members of the Qinhuai Campus medical team, who never give up easily; and the quirky, hip‑hop‑infused internet‑famous frog, with its outlandish style, represents the cutting edge of rehabilitation—namely, the Jiu Yi Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Outpatient Clinic. In addition, the performers of the recitation “Zijin Hospital in My Heart” and the song “Blooming Along the Way” are both from our hospital’s nursing team.

Of course, there was also the most-attended heavyweight performance: a grand chorus of “The Same Song” and the hospital anthem, presented by the leadership and mid-level managers.

Medical-University Collaboration: Celebrating Excellence and Recognition

At this evening’s event, the guests present also witnessed the signing ceremony marking Nanjing Zijin Hospital’s designation as a teaching hospital and practical training base for several institutions. Attending the ceremony were Dean Tang Wei of the School of Acupuncture and Tuina at Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Director Mi Xun of the Department of Health Services at Nanjing Higher Vocational School of Health, Dean Tan Yanquan of the School of Health Management and Rehabilitation at Zhongshan Vocational and Technical College, as well as President Ge Jiangping, Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang, and Vice President Wang Yifang of Nanjing Zijin Hospital.
The signing guests, each holding a water bottle, poured life‑giving water into the sapling—a symbol of hope—signifying that, through close collaboration between the medical school and its partners, they will jointly plant the seedlings of rehabilitation talent development and the advancement of the rehabilitation sector, nurturing a verdant future.

At the gala, distinguished international academicians Li Jian’an, Di Changhua, and Director Yu Fulin were specially invited to present awards to three recipients of our hospital’s Special Contribution Award: Nurse Tang Xianting from the Jiangning Campus, Nurse Zhang Yuna from the Qinhuai Campus, and Wang Chao from the Rehabilitation Therapy Center. Throughout their work, they have consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication and exceptional professional expertise, striving for excellence in every task and continually pushing beyond their own limits. We extend to them our highest respect and our most heartfelt congratulations!
The hospital’s growth would not be possible without every member of the Ziyi community. Time and again, outstanding individuals have emerged, serving as inspiring role models. We will take them as our guide, remain steadfast in our efforts, and strive for continuous progress, contributing to the hospital’s development and dedicating ourselves wholeheartedly to the advancement of rehabilitation care.

The lucky draw keeps the excitement going!

The gala also featured a raffle, with specially invited guests taking the stage to press the draw button and select a variety of exquisite prizes. With each press, the audience’s enthusiasm reached a fever pitch!

Before the gala concluded, we also conducted a live vote to rank the performances and awarded first-, second-, and third-place prizes (the voting results are shown in the figure below). The three special guest judges—Dean Tang Wei, Dean Tan Yanquan, and Director Mi Xun—presented the awards to the performing teams.

Xianglong looks back, leaving behind a splendid legacy; the golden serpent dances, heralding a new journey. As we reflect on the past, every trial and triumph has forged today’s remarkable achievements; as we gaze toward tomorrow, the road ahead is long, calling for us to press forward with heads held high. In 2025, upholding the snake’s agility and wisdom, we will stride ahead with even greater resolve and bolder steps, writing a more dazzling and glorious chapter!
