On the eve of International Labor Day, in order to pay tribute to workers and celebrate those who strive, and to vigorously promote the professional ethos of dedication, commitment, and selfless devotion, the Fifth “Top Ten Employees for Dedication and Love of Their Work” selection and awards ceremony was solemnly held on April 29, 2026, in the Academic Lecture Hall on the fifth floor of the Jiangning Campus of Nanjing Zijin Hospital.

　　As the hospital anthem began to play, the ceremony commenced. The event was chaired by Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang. At the outset, President Ge Jiangping delivered a speech for the awards ceremony, extending her warmest congratulations to the ten “Top Ten Dedicated and Devoted Employees” who were about to be recognized, while also offering heartfelt greetings and profound respect to all Zijin colleagues who steadfastly uphold their duties across clinical, nursing, therapeutic, and logistical roles.

Over the past five years, the program has steadfastly adhered to its core principle: “no consideration of seniority or job level—only practical action and a sense of responsibility.” The process has remained firmly rooted at the grassroots and on the front lines, employing rigorous, results‑oriented criteria to identify role models. While attendance, professional ethics, and job competency serve as the baseline, the selection places particular emphasis on those who are willing to go the extra mile, demonstrate strong accountability, and tackle tough challenges. In this way, every instance of down‑to‑earth dedication is recognized, and every effort made with full commitment is duly acknowledged.

　　Subsequently, Vice President Wang Yifang read out the decision to commend the fifth cohort of “Top Ten Employees for Dedication and Professionalism,” officially announcing the list of awardees.

　　The ten award-winning employees are outstanding representatives of all those who strive across the hospital, and they also serve as a vivid microcosm of frontline workers. Among them are medical staff who have dedicated themselves to clinical care, tirelessly safeguarding patients’ health day and night; rehabilitation therapists who pursue excellence and leverage their professional expertise to support patients’ recovery; and administrative personnel who have devoted themselves to quality control in medical records, rigorously ensuring the accuracy and integrity of case coding. Though they have not performed earth‑shaking feats, they meticulously attend to every small task and deliver every job with unwavering dedication, staying true to their original aspirations as healers, embodying the spirit of professionalism through their sense of responsibility, and writing, through concrete actions, a new chapter of perseverance for the Ziyi people in the new era.
