To deepen the hospital’s refined management, optimize the allocation of human resources for rehabilitation therapy, and promote the integrated and in-depth collaboration between rehabilitation services and clinical departments, the competitive recruitment and evaluation meeting for rehabilitation therapy management positions at Nanjing Zijin Hospital was held as scheduled on April 17, 2026.
This recruitment drive focuses on three key positions: assistant in the Rehabilitation Therapy Department, departmental therapy team leader, and assistant director of the Rehabilitation Therapy Department. Fourteen frontline rehabilitation therapists are vying for these management roles, leveraging their professional expertise and managerial vision to inject new momentum into the hospital’s high‑quality development of its rehabilitation discipline.
This competitive appointment review meeting was conducted by a specialized evaluation panel comprising the hospital’s leadership team, the Medical Affairs Department, and heads of relevant departments, ensuring rigorous oversight throughout the process. The venue maintained orderly proceedings and a vibrant atmosphere. The 14 applicants represented a range of professional ranks, from associate senior to chief and junior levels, including seasoned therapists with many years of experience in rehabilitation and extensive management expertise, as well as core clinicians who have long been at the forefront of clinical practice and possess solid technical skills, thereby fully demonstrating the hospital’s robust and diverse rehabilitation talent pipeline.
Candidates will use a PPT‑based presentation as the core format, adhering to four standardized sections—personal background, career development plan for the position, analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of rehabilitation department reform, and collaboration and recommendations—and, within a five‑minute time limit, articulate their competitive advantages, their approach to the role, and their plans for future development.
The candidates’ presentations were closely aligned with the hospital’s reform initiatives—namely, assigning rehabilitation therapists to the management of respective subspecialties and establishing a dedicated Rehabilitation Therapy Department. Grounded in their actual roles, they conducted an in-depth analysis of the reforms’ positive implications for the hospital’s discipline development, service enhancement, and operational efficiency, while also offering practical and feasible recommendations based on their professional experience.
Following the presentation segment, an additional on-site round was introduced, featuring randomly selected questions and a Q&A session with senior leaders. Centered on practical challenges in managerial roles—such as communication and coordination, quality control, team building, and interdepartmental collaboration—the exercise comprehensively assessed candidates’ abilities in emergency response, logical reasoning, and strategic management.
The candidates responded with composure and clarity, fully demonstrating a solid professional foundation, strong work ethic, and a proactive, responsible spirit. The review panel assigned on-site scores based on report quality, defense performance, and overall capabilities, ensuring that the evaluation results are objective and authoritative.
This competitive recruitment for rehabilitation therapy management positions represents an important step in the hospital’s efforts to deepen personnel system reform and strengthen refined management. By selecting outstanding managerial talent through an open bidding process, the hospital aims to further optimize the allocation of human resources in rehabilitation therapy, smooth career advancement pathways for frontline staff, and energize the team’s drive to innovate and deliver results.
Going forward, the hospital will comprehensively evaluate candidates by integrating the results of this review, the outcomes of democratic assessments, and their day-to-day performance. The selected candidates will then be publicly announced throughout the institution, ensuring that a high-caliber management team leads efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of rehabilitation services. This initiative will further strengthen the hospital’s core competitiveness in rehabilitation care, enabling us to deliver higher‑quality, more efficient, and more professional rehabilitation services to our patients.
