On March 25, the inaugural 2026 Rehabilitation Therapist Skills Competition of Nanjing Zijin Hospital was successfully held at its Jiangning campus. The event brought together 33 rehabilitation therapists from across the hospital, featuring two main components—skill demonstrations and case analyses—aimed at fostering learning and practice through competition. The competition was chaired by Wang Yifang, Deputy Director of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, with Zhang Qin, Deputy Chief Therapist at the Rehabilitation Medicine Center of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital, and Gu Shaoqin, General Manager of Nanjing Ailesi Rehabilitation, serving as expert judges to ensure the event’s professionalism and credibility.

At the opening ceremony, Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, delivered a speech. The competition officially kicked off, with 33 participating therapists drawing lots on-site to vie in skill demonstrations, case analyses, and hands-on presentations. Contestants delivered comprehensive presentations spanning multiple dimensions—rehabilitation assessment, goal setting, and treatment plan design—clearly showcasing their rigorous clinical reasoning and expert technical proficiency, thereby fully highlighting the exceptional professional expertise of the rehabilitation therapists at Nanjing Zijin Hospital.

Following fierce competition and rigorous evaluation by the expert panel, the contest ultimately awarded one First Prize, two Second Prizes, three Third Prizes, and four Excellence Awards.
