From December 11 to 14, the Second High-Quality Development Conference of Private Healthcare in East China and the 2025 East China Rehabilitation Academic Annual Meeting were held in Nanjing. With the theme “Pooling Strength for Innovation, Standardizing for Improvement, and Empowering Development,” the event was co-hosted by the Associations of Private Medical Institutions from six provinces and municipalities in East China.

During the conference, a series of important events were held concurrently. On December 14, the unveiling ceremony for the Advanced Research Base for High-Quality Development of Privately-Run Healthcare in East China took place, with institutions such as Nanjing Zijin Hospital receiving this prestigious honor.

The convening of this conference represents both a proactive response to the strategic initiative of “upholding privately-run healthcare and developing the health industry” and a concrete step toward fostering the sector’s standardized growth and enhancing its core competitiveness. Participants agreed that, by pooling resources to drive innovation, adhering to regulatory standards, and strengthening resource integration, privately‑run healthcare will deliver more tiered and diversified health services to the public, thereby injecting stronger momentum into the building of a Healthy China.
