On May 31, 2022, Qi Yuliang, head of the Rehabilitation Therapy Center at Nanjing Zijin Hospital, along with his assistant, was invited to Nanjing Radio and Television to participate in the recording of the program “My University.” With years of experience in rehabilitation therapy, Director Qi has developed a scientifically grounded and distinctive approach to the field. During the show, he provided a detailed analysis and answered questions about how to prevent and treat the widespread pain conditions afflicting urban residents today.

“My University” has pioneered an innovative “24/7 live‑streamed interaction plus one‑to‑many online classes” format, inviting more than a dozen experts and leading figures from fields such as medicine, education, landscape architecture, and traditional culture to deliver on‑site lectures. The program airs simultaneously on Nanjing TV’s Lifestyle Channel and the Niuka Video platform from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily, and its total views have already surpassed 100,000.

Compared with rural residents, urban dwellers are more likely to experience a range of health issues and sub‑health conditions. Even a moment’s carelessness can lead to persistent aches and pains. In the program, Director Qi began at the top, systematically explaining how to use the “120” identification method to detect stroke; how to prevent and relieve neck and shoulder problems; an analysis of lower‑back issues along with the therapeutic effects of traditional Du‑meridian moxibustion; methods for identifying and correcting anterior pelvic tilt; and strategies to avoid excessive knee wear and tear and maintain knee health. In addition, Director Qi and his assistant demonstrated cervical‑spine exercises, shoulder‑stretching routines, proper techniques for lower‑back training, self‑assessment methods for anterior pelvic tilt, and tips for caring for the knee joints.

The program is currently airing in two parts on the Education and Science Channel of Nanjing Television. If you’re interested, simply scan the QR code on the poster below to watch.
