From November 21 to 23, 2025, the Ninth International Congress of the Society for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Developing Countries, the 2025 Academic Conference of the Critical Care Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, the 2025 Academic Conference of the Rehabilitation Medicine Branch of the Jiangsu Provincial Society for Research Hospitals, the Suzhou–Shandong–Anhui Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist Alliance Meeting, and the Training Workshop on the Incubation of Critical Care Rehabilitation Techniques for Primary-Level Institutions were solemnly convened in Nanjing.

At 9:00 a.m., the conference officially commenced. Renowned figures delivered keynote addresses, including Li Jian’an, Honorary Dean of the School of Rehabilitation Medicine at Nanjing Medical University; Huang Huai, Chief Expert at the General Hospital of the Southern Theater Command; Li Xiaoli, Director of the Center for Cognitive Neuroergonomics at Beijing Normal University; and Lu Xiao, Dean of the School of Rehabilitation Medicine at Nanjing Medical University. Their presentations spanned multiple cutting-edge areas of rehabilitation medicine, offering attendees in-depth and highly insightful insights.

During the keynote session, Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, served as one of the invited guests and jointly inaugurated the launch event for Weisi Medical’s NEO•Family electrostimulation technology. This event focused on the latest advances and clinical applications of electrostimulation, with a commitment to advancing the integration of innovation and practice in rehabilitation medicine.

Subsequently, Dean Ge Jiangping chaired the special academic symposium and delivered a welcoming address. She extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of the conference, briefly reviewed the development of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, systematically outlined the hospital’s achievements in building distinctive disciplines, and comprehensively showcased its professional expertise and service philosophy.

At the specialized academic symposium, Lu Jiayi, a therapist from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Nanjing Zijin Hospital, presented a report titled “Applications and Case Sharing of the Rotational Vibration Therapy Device in Clinical Rehabilitation.” She addressed the topic from multiple perspectives, including the device’s operating principles, evidence‑based rationale, and representative clinical cases, and shared the hospital’s practical explorations in adopting new technologies and expanding rehabilitation pathways. The application of this technology helps reduce edema, alleviate pain, improve sleep quality, and enhance overall quality of life, providing robust support for patients’ return to healthy living. This underscores the hospital’s patient‑centered service philosophy and its ongoing commitment to advancing technological innovation.
