This is how we celebrated her birthday.
In the golden autumn, cool breezes bring joy, and mountains and rivers celebrate together.
On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Nanjing Zijin Hospital meticulously planned and hosted a series of vibrant, themed celebratory events, with medical staff, technicians, patients, and their families all taking part to joyfully mark this momentous occasion and celebrate National Day together.
Rehabilitation crafts, conveying patriotic sentiments.
It’s a holiday! Even patients who are still recovering aren’t missing out—but today, we’re doing things a little differently. At the “Crafting Together, Celebrating National Day” event, patients and their families, guided by therapists, came together to create patriotic-themed crafts.
“Using art to support therapy and warmth of heart to heal,” patients engage in hands-on crafts to enhance their physical functions and relax both body and mind, while also weaving their heartfelt blessings for the motherland into each warm, thoughtful creation.
Within a tiny space, a vast landscape unfolds.
On the mornings of September 28 and 29, the “My Chinese Heart: Puzzle‑Solving Challenge” was held successively at the Jiangning and Qinhuai campuses of Nanjing Zijin Hospital.
At the event site, the challengers were fully focused, while onlookers couldn’t help but feel eager to take part. As soon as the timer started, the participants sprang into action, carefully examining the tiles, confirming their orientation, and comparing their outlines before precisely snapping them into place. Within a small space, their fingertips moved with precision, one by one returning the scattered administrative map pieces to their rightful positions—until the majestic Eastern rooster leapt vividly into view, stirring feelings of pride and deep affection in everyone’s heart.
Fun quizzes to learn new things, joyful laughter to celebrate the dual holidays.
“Who composed the March of the Volunteers?” “How many years has it been since the founding of the People’s Republic of China this year?” “What is the recommended daily salt intake for patients with hypertension, in grams?”
In the hospital lobby, a lively quiz that blended traditional culture with basic medical knowledge was in full swing. No sooner had the host finished speaking than contestants scrambled to answer, their voices rising and falling in a chorus of responses, mingling with applause and laughter. The festive cheer intertwined with practical insights, allowing everyone to gain something through fun and learn while celebrating.
A solemn flag-raising ceremony, paying tribute to our great motherland.
On the morning of October 1, all hospital staff lined up in neat formation, watching as the Five-Star Red Flag rose slowly and singing the national anthem together. This brief yet solemn ceremony embodied the profound respect and heartfelt blessings of the Ziyi community for the motherland, while reaffirming their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the health of the people.
