To strengthen quality and safety oversight of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in private medical institutions, facilitate the implementation of quality‑control standards, and enhance the capacity for hyperbaric oxygen quality management, the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Professional Committee of the China Association of Private Medical Institutions (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) successfully hosted a quality‑control training session on the afternoon of October 22, 2025, at the Jiangning Campus of Nanjing Zijin Hospital. The event aimed to establish a platform for exchange and learning through targeted training, thereby helping private medical institutions refine their quality‑control systems and achieve uniformity, standardization, and safety in hyperbaric oxygen services.

The training session commenced promptly at 3:00 p.m. and lasted one and a half hours. Focused on the practical needs of private medical institutions, the agenda was both substantive and concise. Centered on the core principles of “promoting technological innovation, enhancing service quality, ensuring patient safety, and strengthening standardized industry management,” the specialized committee organized key topics such as reports on hyperbaric oxygen therapy quality control and training on essential quality‑control guidelines, with the aim of addressing challenges in clinical quality assurance and improving the hands‑on competencies of medical, nursing, and technical personnel.

The training session drew active participation from hyperbaric medicine professionals—physicians, nurses, and technicians—as well as quality‑control managers and other industry colleagues nationwide who are passionate about hyperbaric oxygen therapy quality assurance.
