March 5 is both “Lei Feng Memorial Day” and “Youth Volunteer Service Day.” At the blood donation vehicle, medical staff from Nanjing Zijin Hospital rolled up their sleeves, allowing their warm blood and heartfelt compassion to flow together.

Nanjing Zijin Hospital has two wards. In the Jiangning Ward, medical staff welcomed a mobile blood-drawing vehicle, while in the Xiangfangcun Ward, they went to a nearby mobile blood-drawing station.

Many people had just paused their busy work. They filled out blood donation registration forms, entered their personal information, had their blood pressure checked, and provided blood samples for testing; once deemed eligible, they lined up in an orderly fashion to donate—every step of the process was smoothly coordinated.
