On the afternoon of February 18, the lobby of the Jiangning Ward at Nanjing Zijin Hospital was packed, with more than a hundred staff members gathered for the 2019 Work Planning and “Management Year” Mobilization Conference, jointly discussing the hospital’s development strategy for 2019.
 

The conference’s objectives are to carefully plan the 2019 goals and tasks, further advance standardized and innovative management, and enable the entire hospital—while ensuring medical safety and service quality—to undertake more challenging clinical responsibilities and better meet patient needs.
 

The meeting was chaired by Vice President of Administration, Gong Benlin. Dean Ge Jiangping delivered a report on the 2019 work plan and the launch of the “Management Year” initiative. In his address, Dean Ge outlined the overarching strategic direction for 2019 and provided a detailed roadmap for the institute’s activities across ten key areas.
