The standardized transcranial magnetic stimulation training course hosted by our hospital was held in Nanjing.

On May 9, a training workshop on the standardized application of transcranial magnetic stimulation—titled “Enhancing Clinical Practice Guided by Evidence-Based Medicine”—was held in Nanjing, hosted by Nanjing Zijin Hospital and co-organized by Weisi Medical. Experts, scholars, and rehabilitation professionals from across the country gathered to discuss transcranial magnetic technology and its applications.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Wang Changbao, Assistant to the President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital. Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, delivered a warm address, welcoming all attendees. Following this, President Gao presented on “Neurophysiology and the Plasticity of the Nervous System,” outlining the foundational research in contemporary neuroscience and its future development trends.

Professor Lu Xiao from the Department of Critical Care Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Medicine Center of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital delivered an outstanding lecture titled “The Application of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Promoting Consciousness,” presented via videoconference.

Qi Yuliang, head of the Rehabilitation Therapy Center at Nanjing Zijin Hospital, presented relevant clinical cases on the application of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the field of disorders of consciousness.
