　　On March 12, 2015, the Nursing Department invited PICC nursing experts from Nanjing Gulou Hospital to our hospital to deliver lectures and conduct training, and provided on-site guidance to our nurses in mastering PICC maintenance techniques.

　　On March 19, Chen Zhan, a young nurse trained by the Nursing Department, began performing PICC maintenance for patients, with head nurses from various wards attending to observe and provide guidance.

　　On July 29, the Nursing Department conducted a ward‑round on PICC maintenance care, with the presentation delivered by Ward 203. An external PICC nursing expert was invited to assess the quality of care, with the aim of ensuring that all nurses across the hospital are familiar with, proficient in, and able to further refine this nursing technique.

　　Currently, each ward has trained its own PICC‑maintenance nurses, thereby eliminating the previous reliance on consultations from external institutions.
