Nanjing Zijin Hospital is hosting the “5th National Conference on Brain Resuscitation and Rehabilitation”…

The “5th National Summit on Brain Resuscitation and Rehabilitation,” hosted by our hospital, was held in Nanjing from October 13 to 15. Renowned national experts in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, rehabilitation medicine, neurosurgery and neurology, emergency medicine, and critical care attended the conference.
At the conference, our hospital’s President Wang Peidong, along with Ma Hulong, Xu Mengqi, Qi Yuliang, and Fan Yinghua, each presented academic reports on the following topics: “Application and Research Progress of the Persistent Vegetative State (2011 Nanjing Criteria),” “Management of Capillary Leak Syndrome in Severe Traumatic Brain Injury,” “Analysis of the Therapeutic Effects of HBO Combined with Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation in Patients in a Vegetative State,” “Clinical Insights into Acupuncture Treatment for Dysphagia Following Brain Injury,” and “Clinical Application of Bundled Nursing Interventions in Patients with PVS.”
This academic conference aims to bring together experts from across the country to discuss and exchange ideas on the advancement of resuscitation and rehabilitation in the field of brain injury, thereby enhancing the quality of related diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation care. The conference also featured a training workshop on the application of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the treatment and rehabilitation of brain injury, as well as on diagnostic criteria for the persistent vegetative state and the minimally conscious state. This workshop was held at our hospital, with Directors Ma Hulong, Wang Aiping, and Wang Xia leading the instruction and providing guidance.
