The single-person medical oxygen chamber in our hospital’s Jiangning ward has passed the expert panel’s acceptance inspection.
On December 10, two single‑person medical hyperbaric chambers at the Jiangning Ward of Nanjing Zijin Hospital passed inspection by an expert panel, marking that our hospital will henceforth be able to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to a greater number of patients.

As the China Brain Resuscitation Research and Treatment Center, our hospital has been providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy for nearly 30 years and is equipped with a state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen chamber system. Our hyperbaric oxygen therapy center has administered this treatment tens of thousands of times to patients with carbon monoxide poisoning, ischemic‑hypoxic encephalopathy, and those in a vegetative state. With the continuous increase in patient admissions, the existing hyperbaric oxygen chambers at our hospital can no longer fully meet clinical demand.

The two single‑person medical hyperbaric chambers undergoing this acceptance inspection are located at our hospital’s Jiangning Ward (No. 1190 Kejian Road). Following an on-site examination of the hyperbaric chamber equipment, a review of relevant qualification documents and records, and thorough deliberation, the expert panel reached a unanimous conclusion: the chambers have passed acceptance. Effective immediately, the Jiangning Ward of our hospital may officially commence hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
