As the 2017 International Nurses Day on May 12 approaches, Nanjing Zijin Hospital hosted a nursing skills competition featuring six sterile‑technique procedures. The nine contestants completed each task with great enthusiasm and professionalism.

　　The competition was a resounding success, and not only the contestants but also the head nurses serving as judges walked away with valuable takeaways.

　　The competition awarded first, second, and third prizes, as well as an encouragement prize, with the results announced and the awards presented at our hospital’s May 12 Nurses’ Day ceremony.
