On the morning of January 29, 2019, the Daguang Road Police Station of the Qinhuai Branch of the Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau officially unveiled its plaque at the police service station located within Nanjing Zijin Hospital.
 

The hospital police station is jointly established, constructed, and managed by the local public security organs, health authorities, and key hospitals, integrating the specialized resources of the public security forces with the internal security personnel of medical institutions, and adopting a combination of dedicated officers and mass participation to strengthen public security and safeguarding efforts within the hospital.

Public security organs have established dedicated police stations at key hospitals, whose primary responsibilities include: conducting supervision, inspection, and guidance of internal public security and protection efforts in accordance with the State Council’s Regulations on Internal Public Security and Protection for Enterprises and Institutions; collecting, screening, and reporting intelligence related to stability‑related matters, and ensuring effective control of relevant areas; responding to public requests for assistance and, in accordance with the law, cracking down on all types of criminal and unlawful activities involving medical institutions; and assisting in the prevention and mediation of medical‑related disputes, thereby maintaining public order and security within the hospital.
