Our hospital is conducting centralized onboarding training for new employees.

Building a strong talent pool was one of Nanjing Zijin Hospital’s key priorities in 2019. Recently, the hospital conducted a centralized recruitment drive, and more than 40 professionals from various disciplines have joined the team, injecting fresh energy into the hospital’s development.

To help newly hired staff quickly adapt to their new roles, the hospital has been conducting orientation sessions since late March, enabling new colleagues to integrate into the team, gain a deeper understanding of themselves and one another, and become better acquainted with Nanjing Zijin Hospital.

The first training session began with getting to know one another. A carefully designed team-building activity helped colleagues from different departments quickly bond. Following that, participants learned about Nanjing Zijin Hospital’s 30-year history and gained insights into the hospital’s policies, quality standards, and patient safety protocols. The new employees listened attentively, their faces lighting up with enthusiasm for their new roles.

To foster unity and collaboration among new employees, the Office of the Institute organized a full-day team-building retreat. Throughout the activities, participants joined hands and worked in concert, striving toward shared goals. In each stage of the program, they listened, reflected, and drew insights, gaining a deeper understanding of the principles of goal-setting and collaborative division of labor, while strengthening their sense of the bigger picture. The lessons learned during this training will guide them as they face future challenges and seize opportunities.
