The 4th National Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Awareness Week 2019 will take place from June 24 to 28. As one of the participating co-organizers, Nanjing Zijin Hospital will join forces with 165 hospitals across 26 provinces nationwide to simultaneously host a series of public‑education and experiential events.
 

The promotional campaign organized by Nanjing Zijin Hospital is primarily conducted in two formats.

First, there is a free trial of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Individuals experiencing chronic hypoxia or sub‑health conditions will be given priority for participation. Those interested in joining the trial may register at the hyperbaric chambers in Wards 1 and 2 of Nanjing Zijin Hospital. Each person is limited to one session, and registration will close once the quota of 24 participants is filled. The trial will take place on the afternoons of June 27–29, with two chambers operating each day, accommodating four patients per chamber. Second, we organized remote expert lectures and public education sessions on hyperbaric oxygen therapy. During the awareness week, educational presentations on hyperbaric oxygen therapy were held in the academic conference rooms of Wards 1 and 2 at Nanjing Zijin Hospital, with participants able to watch the experts’ lectures. The lecture topics included “Clinical Applications of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy,” “Applications of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Orthopedics,” and “Applications of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in the Central Nervous System.” All clinical healthcare professionals and rehabilitation physicians are warmly invited to attend.
