On September 1, 2019, leaders and experts from the Jiangsu Provincial Medical Association and the Nanjing Medical Association, at the invitation of the Jiangsu Branch of Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine, visited Nanjing Zijin Hospital to inspect the preparatory arrangements for co‑hosting the 14th Jiangsu Provincial Conference on Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine and the 2019 Nanjing Zijin Hyperbaric Oxygen Forum.
 

The 14th Jiangsu Provincial Conference on Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine and the 2019 Nanjing Hyperbaric Oxygen Zijin Forum are scheduled to take place in Nanjing from November 15 to 17, 2019. The conference is hosted by the Jiangsu Medical Association and co-organized by Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital and Nanjing Zijin Hospital. In addition to academic exchanges, the event will feature special lectures by renowned domestic experts and a selection process for outstanding papers submitted to the conference.

During this inspection tour, the visiting leaders and experts toured the Jiangning Campus of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, gaining an understanding of the application of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and its day-to-day management, as well as the progress of preparations for the 14th Provincial Conference on Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine and the 2019 Nanjing Zijin Forum on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
 

The subsequent symposium was chaired by Chen Linsheng, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine Branch. Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, outlined the hospital’s achievements across multiple domains—including medical quality management, scientific research, talent development, and institutional culture—focusing on six key areas. He also reported on the arrangements for co‑organizing this large‑scale academic conference, expressing both the capability and confidence to ensure the successful hosting of the province‑wide annual meeting.
 

Director Chen Jun and Director Li Gen of the Jiangsu Provincial Medical Association, along with Lin Qinglong, Secretary-General of the Nanjing Medical Association, each delivered remarks, commending Nanjing Zijin Hospital’s achievements in recent years and expressing their support for and high expectations regarding the province’s 14th Academic Conference on Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine. The chairperson and several members of the Provincial Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine Branch also attended the symposium.

At the conclusion of the symposium, the president of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, the vice presidents in charge, and representatives of several department heads stated that they would spare no effort to ensure all preparations for the conference are meticulously completed, thereby guaranteeing its timely and successful convening and contributing their due share to advancing the academic development of hyperbaric oxygen medicine throughout the province.
