Our hospital’s Party branch conducted a thematic education activity at the Meiyuan Xincun Memorial Hall.
On the afternoon of June 19, the Party branch of Nanjing Zijin Hospital organized a special “Red Journey” activity under the theme of “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind,” taking party members to the Memorial Hall of the CPC Delegation at Meiyuan New Village to honor revolutionary martyrs and foster a deep sense of patriotism. More than 20 participants, including all party members, probationary party members, candidates for membership, and active applicants for Party membership, took part in this educational event.
The Mei Yuan New Village Memorial Hall stands on the original site of the CPC Delegation’s office and is a national model base for patriotic education. Party branch secretary Ge Jiangping led party members and probationary members on visits to several thematic exhibition areas, including the Zhou Enlai bronze statue, the Exhibition Hall of Historical Materials on the KMT–CPC Nanjing Negotiations, and the former site of the CPC Delegation’s office.
By viewing historical photographs, examining the museum’s collection of cultural relics, and experiencing recreated historical scenes brought to life through sound, light, and electricity, participants deeply felt the selfless dedication and heroic spirit of Premier Zhou Enlai and other elder-generation proletarian revolutionaries, profoundly moving their souls. Throughout the visit, they paused frequently to observe or engage in lively discussions, expressing their profound respect for the revolutionary martyrs.
During the event, participants faced the Party flag, raised their right hands and clenched their fists to reaffirm their oath of admission to the Party, recalling the solemn commitments and unwavering resolve they made at the time of their入党宣誓. Under the Party’s banner, they allowed their hearts to be purified and spiritually renewed.
Following the conclusion of the event, participants unanimously expressed their commitment to transforming the fine traditions of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries into a pragmatic and truth‑seeking work style. They pledged to put the original aspirations and mission of Communists into practice through concrete actions, strengthen their political ideals and convictions, reinforce their sense of Party membership, and deepen their awareness of serving the people, thereby dedicating themselves to both work and life with renewed enthusiasm.
