Recently, the Nanjing Red Cross Blood Center presented Nanjing Zijin Hospital with the 2019 “Advanced Collective in Voluntary Blood Donation” plaque, recognizing the hospital’s dedicated contributions to charitable causes over the past year.



On the eve of the 2019 Spring Festival, Dean Ge Jiangping took the lead in organizing a blood drive, using renewable blood to save lives that cannot be regained. Many busy medical staff made time to come to the blood donation site despite their hectic schedules, returning to work immediately afterward. Some doctors and nurses did not arrive at the collection site until lunchtime. The entire hospital has placed great importance on this blood donation drive.


For many years, Nanjing Zijin Hospital has consistently organized group blood donations each year. Following the outbreak of the pandemic this year, it became the first blood-donation organization within Nanjing’s healthcare system, continuously contributing to public welfare.
