A physician from our hospital has been awarded the “Donghua Neuroscience Excellence Award.”
At the third “Zhejiang Donghua Neuroscience Talent Award” case‑presentation competition held on August 29, Qi Yuliang, head of the Rehabilitation Center at Nanjing Zijin Hospital, stood out among numerous contestants and was awarded second prize.

This competition was co-hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Physicians Association and the editorial board of the journal “Zhejiang Journal of Traumatic Surgery,” with the Rehabilitation Medicine Research Center of the School of Medicine at Zhejiang University and the Donghua Education Fund of the Zhejiang University Education Foundation serving as the implementing organizations. Centered on the theme of “Neural Repair and Rehabilitation in Neurological Disorders,” the event featured carefully prepared case presentations and research‑based case studies from young physicians across specialties, including neurosurgery, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, and orthopedics.
Qi Yuliang delivered a speech during the competition.
The competition adopts a format in which contestants present clinical cases on-site, followed by a Q&A session. During the eight-minute case presentation, young physicians draw upon challenging clinical cases to offer clear, insightful analyses, cite authoritative sources, and articulate their reflections and conclusions.

This year, Nanjing Zijin Hospital participated for the first time in the “Zhejiang Donghua Neuroscience Outstanding Talent Award” case‑study selection. A total of five young physicians submitted cases spanning various disciplines; with the exception of Qi Yuliang, the remaining four all made it into the top 30. These outstanding results clearly demonstrate that the judges and their peers in the field highly recognize the cases submitted by our hospital.
