Our hospital held the 2020 Work Summary and Commendation Meeting, as well as the 2021 Work Mobilization Conference.

Through wind and rain, time has forged our resolve; as we bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new, there is no better moment to look back on the past and chart a course for the future. On the afternoons of January 29 and 30, Nanjing Zijin Hospital held its 2020 Summary and Awards Ceremony, along with a 2021 Work Mobilization Meeting, at each of its two campuses. Mid-level and senior management personnel, key clinical and administrative staff, and employee representatives from all departments attended the meetings.

Dr. Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, reviewed and summarized the hospital’s 2020 performance across nine key areas. She noted that, over the past year, the entire hospital rallied together to meet the challenges posed by the COVID‑19 pandemic, steadfastly advancing refined management and leveraging academic development as a driving force to comprehensively enhance medical care, education, and research. Undeterred by adversity, the hospital pressed forward toward its goals, achieving significant breakthroughs in critical areas such as quality management, discipline development, talent cultivation, and service branding.

Dean Ge Jiangping requested: We will closely align our disciplinary adjustments and development efforts with established strategic goals, comprehensively enhancing the hospital’s service capacity and quality. We will continue to strengthen COVID‑19 prevention and control, rigorously implementing all relevant measures; in accordance with unified directives from higher authorities, we will actively carry out the “Year of Private Hospital Management” initiative; and we will persist in attracting top‑tier talent while intensifying professional training to support the growth of staff at all levels. Furthermore, we will continue to bolster the hospital’s infrastructure and information technology systems, reinforce cultural development, elevate the professional ethics of all medical personnel, and foster harmonious doctor–patient relationships. With unshakable confidence, a sense of urgency, and unwavering perseverance, all hospital employees will forge ahead, seize opportunities, meet challenges, and collectively achieve even more outstanding results.

The conference commended a number of collectives and individuals who demonstrated dedication, commitment, selflessness, and a spirit of diligent inquiry in their work during 2020, as well as the leaders behind relevant academic achievements.
