On the morning of May 12, the Nanjing Municipal Qinhuai District Health Commission held a grand ceremony to honor and celebrate Nurses’ Day. Two nurses from our hospital, Geng Xiaoying and Xu Yiteng, were awarded the title of “Outstanding Nurse.”

 

 
 

At present, vaccination remains an effective measure for preventing and controlling the COVID‑19 pandemic. In response to the government’s call, our hospital has assigned two nurses to fully support the epidemic prevention and control efforts. Over the past few days, they have put aside their rest, steadfastly holding the line on the front lines, demonstrating responsibility through their dedication and serving the public with warm smiles.

 

 

 

Within the hospital, they have demonstrated outstanding performance, a positive mindset, and a diligent, hardworking attitude. They possess a solid foundation in professional theory, are highly skilled, and maintain an excellent service demeanor, earning unanimous praise from medical staff, patients, and caregivers alike. During the COVID‑19 pandemic, they volunteered to take part in preliminary screening and triage, actively contributed to community COVID‑19 vaccination efforts, and exemplified a spirit of selfless dedication that is truly commendable.
