On June 16, the Eighth East China Conference on Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine and the Annual Academic Meeting of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association were held in Shanghai. This conference represented a major scholarly event in the field of hyperbaric oxygen medicine across the East China region. More than 200 physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrative personnel from medical and health institutions at all levels in the six provinces and one municipality of East China—engaged in hyperbaric oxygen medicine and related specialties—attended the event.

 

 

At this academic conference, the proceedings comprise a total of 36 papers, including contributions from expert professors. Among these, our institute submitted 15 papers, accounting for half of the total, with 3 of them presented at the conference.

 

 

Our hospital has consistently placed great emphasis on scientific research, vigorously cultivating a robust research workforce and fostering a vibrant academic environment. Moving forward, the hospital will further refine its disciplinary strengths and comprehensively elevate its research capabilities, laying a solid foundation for the overall enhancement of its institutional standing.
