Our hospital’s efforts to establish an age-friendly hospital have undergone review by a panel of experts.
On the afternoon of July 20, a six-member expert panel for the evaluation of age-friendly healthcare institutions in Jiangning District conducted an on-site assessment of our hospital’s efforts to become an age-friendly facility.
After listening to the relevant reports, the reviewing experts conducted an assessment of areas such as patient wards, payment counters, and pharmacies, examining them from the perspectives of culture, management, services, and the environment, while carefully reviewing supporting records.
The expert review panel fully commended our institute’s efforts to establish the initiative, while also offering constructive feedback and recommendations for addressing existing shortcomings.
Establishing age-friendly hospitals will further enhance the convenience of elderly patients receiving care at our hospital, ensuring that seniors have access to quality medical services in their later years and advancing the development of an age‑friendly society.
