I’m part of the fight against the epidemic! Our hospital’s medical staff are supporting nucleic acid sampling.

At 10:59 p.m. on July 20, Nanjing issued a notice stating that nine of the regular nucleic acid test samples taken from staff at Nanjing Lukou International Airport had tested positive.

In accordance with the deployment requirements of the provincial and municipal authorities, Jiangning District promptly took action to launch all relevant tasks. Nanjing Zijin Hospital convened an emergency meeting to deliberate and organize epidemic prevention and control measures, and dispatched medical personnel to support Nanjing’s epidemiological investigation efforts.

At approximately 2:40 p.m. on July 22, the first team of six medical workers dispatched by Nanjing Zijin Hospital set out and promptly arrived at the designated location to begin nucleic acid sampling.

At work, they donned protective suits; in the sweltering heat, their undergarments quickly soaked through with sweat. Yet they remained vigilant, continuing until late that night, when the six of them had collected nucleic acid samples from roughly 3,500 individuals. Only after completing testing for every resident in their community did they return to rest.

Going forward, our hospital will continue to follow the directives of higher authorities and actively participate in epidemic prevention and control efforts.
