On the afternoon of September 14, the 2021 Young Physicians Case Presentation Competition was successfully held at Nanjing Zijin Hospital.
 

This competition has specially invited Professor Hang Chunhua from Nanjing Gulou Hospital, Professor Pan Huaping from Jiangning Hospital, and Professor Zhang Wenbin from Nanjing Brain Hospital to serve as judges and guest commentators. Members of the leadership team of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, along with heads of its clinical departments, also served as judges for the event.

The eight finalists, hailing from various departments across the hospital and long engaged in frontline clinical practice, took to the stage to dissect classic cases they had encountered in their work, articulating their perspectives and reflecting on their lessons learned. Meanwhile, probing questions from the expert panel, insightful commentary, and the contestants’ spontaneous responses kept the competition thrilling throughout.

Ultimately, following the judges’ scoring, the rankings for this competition were announced. The expert judges presented certificates of honor and awards to all the contestants.

This case‑presentation competition showcased the young physicians’ pragmatic and meticulous approach to learning, honed their skills in summarizing clinical cases and reviewing relevant medical knowledge and literature, and laid a solid foundation for further enhancing the standardization of diagnostic and therapeutic practices.
