In accordance with the national requirements for the “Private Hospital Management Year” campaign, on the morning of November 10, 2021, the Nanjing Municipal Health Commission convened relevant departments and more than twenty experts from related fields to conduct a special supervisory inspection at Nanjing Zijin Hospital as part of the “Private Hospital Management Year” initiative.

　　Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, extended a warm welcome to the expert panel for their visit and guidance, and presented a report on the specific measures, key highlights, achievements, and existing shortcomings of the hospital’s “Year of Private Hospital Management” initiative. She sincerely stated that the hospital would take this inspection as an opportunity to identify problems, pinpoint gaps, and, following the review, implement thorough corrective actions to comprehensively enhance its management standards and elevate all aspects of its operations to a new level.

　　At the launch meeting, Xu Minsheng, a second-level inspector with the Nanjing Municipal Health Commission, urged the inspection team to take the “Year of Private Hospital Management” review as an opportunity to help private hospitals across the city identify shortcomings and foster development. He stated that the fundamental mission of any hospital is to treat illness and save lives; a hospital is truly good if it can serve patients, adhere to standardized clinical practices, and possess high‑quality medical expertise. As a rehabilitation hospital, Nanjing Zijin Hospital boasts distinct specialized strengths. He expressed the hope that the hospital will sustain its positive momentum, further enhance its management and service standards, and thereby benefit more patients.

　　Wei Qiang, Director of the Medical Administration and Management Division of the Nanjing Municipal Health Commission, outlined the arrangements for this inspection, which will conduct targeted assessments across the following areas: hospital infection control, lawful practice management, standardized diagnosis and treatment, medical quality management, prevention of medical safety risks, medical device management, pharmaceutical management, professional conduct oversight, logistics management, and emergency management for workplace safety.

　　More than twenty experts from various fields conducted in-depth inspections across the departments of Nanjing Zijin Hospital. Through on-site review of documentation and field visits, they carried out thorough and meticulous assessments covering areas such as lawful practice, quality and safety management, pharmaceutical use management, professional conduct, hospital infection control, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy quality assurance, and provided timely feedback.

Moving forward, Nanjing Zijin Hospital will, in light of the expert panel’s feedback and in close alignment with the initiatives of the “Year of Private Hospital Management,” further strengthen infrastructure, standardize professional practices, enhance service quality, and promote well-rounded improvements in medical care, thereby providing the public with efficient, convenient, and high‑quality healthcare services.
