Our hospital has been awarded the title of Vice-President Unit of the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine.

Zhou Chunxiang, President of the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine, Professor at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and doctoral supervisor, attended the ceremony and presented a plaque to Nanjing Zijin Hospital, the vice-presidential unit.
Shan Zhengwei, Executive Vice President of the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine and former Deputy Secretary of the Qinhuai District Committee at the sub‑district level, along with Chang Xi, Secretary-General of the World Federation of Natural Medicine, and other leaders of the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine, attended the meeting, together with Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital; Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President; Wang Yifang, Vice President; and heads of various departments. The ceremony was chaired by Zhang Ming, Secretary-General of the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine and former Vice President of the Nanjing Municipal Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
Prior to the plaque‑presentation ceremony, Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Natural Medicine Association and provided a brief overview of the hospital’s development journey and its current achievements. As Nanjing’s first tertiary‑level rehabilitation hospital and Jiangsu Province’s first privately‑run tertiary‑level rehabilitation facility, Nanjing Zijin Hospital has consistently advanced in the fields of brain resuscitation and critical‑care rehabilitation. By joining the Nanjing Natural Medicine Association as an associate vice‑president unit, the hospital hopes that, with the Association’s support, it will be able to achieve further breakthroughs and progress in brain resuscitation and the management of disorders of consciousness.
Zhou Chunxiang, President of the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine, Professor at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and doctoral supervisor, highly commended the medical standards and cultural philosophy of Nanjing Zijin Hospital. President Zhou emphasized, “Life must be sustained—and sustained with high quality.” The Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine comprises twenty specialized committees and five working committees, covering areas such as therapeutic massage, oncology rehabilitation, vascular diseases, health management, and music therapy. It brings together leading scholars and top-tier experts from various disciplines of natural medicine in the Nanjing region, providing robust professional and technical support for the hospital’s future rehabilitation efforts.

At the unveiling ceremony and symposium, Dan Zhengwei, Executive Vice President of the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine and former deputy secretary of the Qinhuai District Committee at the sub‑district level, expressed her admiration with a resounding “Truly remarkable!” She marveled at Nanjing Zijin Hospital’s high‑quality development in recent years, was deeply moved by the dramatic transformation the hospital has undergone, and praised its well‑rounded talent pool and exceptional, patient‑centered services. She also encouraged the hospital to further elevate its rehabilitation care standards and service philosophy, striving to become a leader among rehabilitation hospitals across the province and even nationwide.

Following the unveiling and plaque‑presentation ceremony, Dean Ge Jiangping escorted the guests on a tour of the hospital’s facilities, including the wards, the intensive care unit, the rehabilitation therapy hall, and the hyperbaric oxygen therapy center. He also provided a detailed overview of the six major subspecialties currently being developed at Nanjing Zijin Hospital. At the conclusion of the visit, all participants gathered in the first‑floor lobby for a group photograph.

Rehabilitation breathes new life into individuals and restores their dignity. Actively integrating naturopathic techniques into the rehabilitation process provides significant support and contributes meaningfully to patients’ recovery. Nanjing Zijin Hospital will leverage its strengths, capitalize on its distinctive medical expertise, and, drawing on a team of distinguished domestic and international experts from the Nanjing Society of Natural Medicine, continue to advance research and practice in the fields of cerebral resuscitation and critical care rehabilitation.
