Spring sowing, autumn harvest—since Nanjing Zijin Hospital launched its “Private Hospital Management Year” initiative, nearly four hundred dedicated staff members have worked tirelessly, reaping abundant rewards. The time has finally come to share these achievements.

　　On the afternoon of December 9, as the hospital’s warm and welcoming anthem began to play, Nanjing Zijin Hospital officially opened its summary and awards ceremony for the “Private Hospital Management Year” initiative. The event featured a comprehensive report on the achievements attained across all departments in implementing their respective responsibilities and advancing the program in accordance with the overall plan, followed by the recognition of two outstanding teams and 25 exemplary individuals who emerged during the campaign.

　　Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, delivered a report covering legal compliance in practice management, the refinement of rules and regulations, daily operations, pharmaceutical and medical device management, professional conduct development, hospital infection control, logistics management, and workplace safety management. The report summarized the progress and achievements of various management initiatives at Nanjing Zijin Hospital, while also reflecting on existing problems and shortcomings and proposing corrective measures.

　　At the conclusion of his report, Dean Ge Jiangping stated that although this initiative has come to a close, we must continue to advance along the path of “strengthening standardization” and “enhancing quality,” ensuring that this effort yields even more far-reaching and positive outcomes.

　　Vice President Wang Yifang read out the commendation documents for our hospital’s “Year of Private Hospital Management” initiative. Wards 102 and 204 were awarded the title of Advanced Collective, and 25 employees from various departments were recognized as Outstanding Individuals.

　　“Without accumulating small steps, one cannot reach a thousand miles; without gathering small streams, one cannot form rivers and seas.” In recent years, our hospital has closely adhered to the campaign theme of “upholding standards to drive development and enhancing quality to enrich substance,” taking “standardization” as the guiding principle and “quality” as the ultimate goal. As a result, we have not only promoted development but also strengthened our institutional depth, reaping substantial benefits from this initiative.

　　Most notably, in February 2022, our hospital successfully passed the inspection and accreditation conducted by the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission and was officially approved to upgrade to a Grade III rehabilitation hospital, marking a historic milestone in our institution’s development. In addition, our Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, following a rigorous evaluation, has once again been recognized as a Key Specialty in Nanjing. Furthermore, the research efforts of our medical, nursing, and technical staff have yielded significant achievements: over the past two years, they have published 22 academic papers in various scholarly journals, including 2 in SCI-indexed journals and 9 in journals listed in the Chinese Core Journals database—each representing a new record high.

The various arrangements and requirements of the “Private Hospital Management Year” campaign have provided our hospital with a clear direction and a well-defined roadmap for sustained, high‑quality development.

　　Vice President Gao Zhiqiang delivered the closing remarks, stating that although this initiative has concluded, the entire institute will, under the leadership of President Ge Jiangping, continue to advance along the path of “strengthening standardization” and “enhancing quality,” ensuring that this effort yields even more far-reaching and positive outcomes.
