　　The report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China calls for forging a strong ideological and political foundation by upholding Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thereby guiding the entire Party in using the Party’s innovative theories as a tool to transform its subjective world.

　　To further advance the thematic education campaign on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, on June 2, the Party branch of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, in conjunction with its themed Party Day activities, organized a visit to Zhou Enlai’s former residence in Huai’an, together with more than 30 prospective Party members, to pay their respects at the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall. During this themed Party Day event, participants carried forward the “Enlai” spirit and demonstrated their commitment to the Party through dedicated service in the medical field.

　　Strengthen the foundation of faith, fortify spiritual vitality, and keep the helm of thought steady. During their journey, the Party branch of Nanjing Zijin Hospital made use of break times to integrate the study of the “Outline for Studying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era (2023 Edition)” with the study of the “Selected Works of Xi Jinping,” adhering to the principles of reading the original works, studying the original texts, and comprehending the underlying principles. Under the guidance of the lead reader, Party members and prospective Party members read each passage and section carefully, striving to grasp the meaning line by line and paragraph by paragraph, keeping pace with new developments and engaging in in-depth, systematic study, thereby jointly deepening their understanding of the scientific framework, core tenets, and practical requirements of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

　　At noon, a delegation from the Party branch of Nanjing Zijin Hospital first visited Zhou Enlai’s former residence and posed for a commemorative photo at the statue of Comrades Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao. During their tour of the exhibition showcasing the family traditions and values of the Zhou family, the party members paused to observe and reflect, deeply moved by Zhou Enlai’s modest, frugal lifestyle and his strict self-discipline. They felt the Premier’s rigorous guidance and profound affection for younger generations, and came to admire his lifelong integrity, dedication to public service, and the exemplary demeanor of a leader who remained untainted by personal gain. Throughout his life, he embodied the fine traditions and conduct of a Communist.

　　Pine and cypress trees stand lush and verdant, red flags flutter in the breeze, and against the backdrop of the vibrant, emerald‑green peach orchards, the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall exudes solemnity and dignity. Party members and prospective members of the Party arrived at the memorial’s main square with hearts full of reverence. Ascending the steps, they stood in silent tribute before the white‑marble statue of Premier Zhou Enlai, then together bowed to the sculpture, deeply commemorating his enduring achievements.

　　At the foot of the bronze statue of Premier Zhou Enlai, facing the vibrant Party flag, all Party members stood in neat formation, raising their right hands in a clenched fist. Led by Ge Jiangping, the Party branch secretary, they recited the Party membership oath once again, reaffirming their original aspirations upon joining the Party.
