The Rehabilitation Branch of the Jiangsu Provincial Association of Privately-Run Medical Institutions is scheduled to hold its inaugural general assembly and the First Jiangsu Provincial Rehabilitation Academic Conference in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, on January 12–13, 2024.

　　This conference is hosted by the Rehabilitation Branch (under preparation) of the Jiangsu Provincial Association of Privately Operated Medical Institutions, and co-organized by Nanjing Mingji Hospital, Nanjing Zijin Hospital, Xuzhou New Health Hospital, and Oriental Huakang Medical Group, with support from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. The theme of the conference is “Standardization, Innovation, Intelligence, and Development.” It aims to invite renowned experts and scholars from across the province and beyond in the fields of neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, critical care rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, and hospital management, to focus on pressing issues and challenges in the rehabilitation sector, jointly showcase cutting-edge developments, and disseminate new concepts, technologies, approaches, and equipment. The goal is to enable participants to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct rehabilitation work in a standardized and scientifically sound manner.

Meeting Content

　　(1) The main forum will bring together renowned domestic experts, showcasing the latest cutting-edge technologies in the field of rehabilitation.

　　(II) The parallel sessions cover multiple fields, including neurocritical care rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, and hospital management. Prior to the academic conference, the inaugural meeting of the Rehabilitation Branch of the Jiangsu Provincial Association of Privately-Run Medical Institutions will also be held, during which the first-term board members, executive directors, vice presidents, and president of the branch will be elected. At that time, rehabilitation professionals from privately-run medical institutions across Jiangsu Province will gather together.

　　This sub‑forum plans to invite renowned experts from multiple disciplines, including rehabilitation medicine and critical care medicine, to focus on the key issues and challenges in critical care rehabilitation, showcase cutting‑edge developments in the field, and disseminate new concepts, technologies, and approaches. It will also aim to standardize management and treatment, discuss multidisciplinary integration, scientific assessment, and innovative therapeutic strategies, and establish an academic platform for exchange in critical care rehabilitation. The “Neurological and Critical Care Rehabilitation Sub‑Forum,” hosted by Nanjing Zijin Hospital, will be held on January 13, 2024, and all colleagues are cordially invited to attend.
