The 2023 Work Summary and Commendation Conference of Nanjing Zijin Hospital was held successfully.

Time flies like an arrow; the days and months slip by in a flash. 2023 has long since turned its page, and throughout the year we stood united, working together with one heart and one mind. We made steady progress and reaped abundant rewards.

  At 2:00 p.m. on January 27, Nanjing Zijin Hospital held its 2023 Annual Work Summary and Commendation Conference, bringing a successful close to the year’s efforts while setting the stage for a fresh start in 2024, establishing clear goals, and ushering in a new phase of development and progress.

 

 

As the melodious anthem of Nanjing Zijin Hospital resonated throughout the venue, the conference officially commenced under the chairmanship of Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang.

 

 

  Dean Ge Jiangping delivered the “2023 Annual Work Summary Report,” which provided a detailed account of the hospital’s progress and achievements across key areas, including clinical care, CARF accreditation, quality control management, talent development, workplace safety, academic research, medical insurance operations, infection prevention and control, pharmaceuticals, consumables, and medical device management, service quality enhancement, cultural and brand building, and infrastructure development.

 

 

  Following the presentation of the annual work summary report, Xiao Feng, Director of the Medical Affairs Department at Nanjing Zijin Hospital; Liu Yafeng, Regional Director of the Jiangning Campus; and Wang Changbao, Regional Director of the Qinhuai Campus, each delivered remarks on their respective 2024 work plans.

 

Director of the Medical Affairs Department, Xiao Feng

  Director Xiao Feng, on behalf of the Medical Affairs Department staff, expressed gratitude to all colleagues who worked tirelessly in preparing for the 2023 CARF accreditation. She stated that, with everyone’s concerted efforts, the hospital’s medical quality‑control initiatives in 2024 will undoubtedly reach a new level.

  

Liu Yafeng, Regional Director of the Jiangning Campus

  Director Liu Yafeng stated that, with the care and support of the hospital leadership, the HDU of the Jiangning Campus’s Department of Critical Care Medicine was successfully completed and put into operation in the second half of 2023. He expressed confidence that, through the concerted efforts of all medical, nursing, and technical staff, the Jiangning Campus will continue to elevate its standards of care in 2024, thereby providing even better services to patients.

  

Wang Changbao, Regional Director of the Qinhuai Campus

  Director Wang Changbao provided a brief report on the progress of the renovation and revitalization of the Qinhuai Campus, and outlined his work plan for the newly commissioned intensive care unit, as well as for the planned additions of an oncology rehabilitation department and a traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation department.

 

  At the conclusion of the meeting, Vice President Wang Yifang read out the “Decision of Nanjing Zijin Hospital on Commending Outstanding Collectives and Individuals for 2023” and the “Notice on Business Performance Assessment Awards for the Second Half of 2023.” The hospital leadership presented awards to 34 individuals or their representatives, including recipients of the “Outstanding Newcomer Award,” the “Top Twenty Employees” award, and the “Annual Academic and Research Award.” The list of awardees is as follows:

“Top 20 Employees”: 20 individuals (from left to right): Xie Bin, Wang Qing, Wu Xinxiu, Zhu Jiwen, Liu Guangzhou, Meng Wei, Kong Weili, Li Ben, Liu Yuanyuan, and Meng Shirong (Figure 1).

Meeting Summary:

  At this summary conference, President Ge Jiangping also identified twelve critical issues that urgently need to be addressed in the hospital’s development and outlined fifteen key priorities for the 2024 work plan. In 2024, we will remain committed to a patient-centered approach, delivering personalized, specialized healthcare services to provide every patient with improved treatment options and an enhanced quality of life. We will stay focused on our goals, forge ahead with determination, and continuously strive for excellence and innovation. Furthermore, we will steadily enhance the quality and efficiency of all our operations, ushering in a new chapter in the development of Nanjing Zijin Hospital!
