Our hospital successfully hosted a municipal-level continuing medical education program.

Recently, Nanjing Zijin Hospital successfully hosted the 2024 municipal-level continuing medical education program, “Training Workshop on the Assessment and Treatment of Patients with Swallowing Disorders.” The workshop spanned three days and comprised two main components: theoretical lectures and hands-on practice.


Recently, Nanjing Zijin Hospital successfully hosted the 2024 municipal-level continuing medical education program, “Training Workshop on the Assessment and Treatment of Patients with Swallowing Disorders.” The workshop spanned three days and comprised two main components: theoretical lectures and hands-on practice.

 

 

  This municipal continuing medical education program aims to provide participants with a platform for learning and exchanging the latest theories and techniques in the assessment and treatment of dysphagia, thereby enhancing the diagnostic and therapeutic skills of healthcare professionals. While advancing the standardization of rehabilitation medicine, it also contributes to the high-quality development of the city’s health sector.

  

 

  This training program invited a distinguished faculty of renowned experts and clinicians from both within and outside the hospital, including Lu Xiao, Dean of the School of Rehabilitation Medicine at Nanjing Medical University; Zhang Wenbin, Chief Physician of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Affiliated Brain Hospital of Nanjing Medical University; Yang Xi, Head Technician of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Zhongda Hospital, affiliated with Southeast University; Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital; Wang Yifang, Vice President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital; Wang Changbao, Assistant to the President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital; Liu Yafeng, Director of the Major Department at the Jiangning Campus of Nanjing Zijin Hospital; Gao Hongliang, Head of the Rehabilitation Therapy Center at Nanjing Zijin Hospital; Chen Ying, Leader of the Swallowing Group at the Qinhuai Campus of Nanjing Zijin Hospital; and Wang Cong, Leader of the Speech‑Language Therapy Team at the Jiangning Campus of Nanjing Zijin Hospital. The engaging theoretical lectures and hands‑on demonstrations were unanimously praised by the participants.

 

 

  This municipal continuing medical education training course has provided participants with an opportunity to gain insights into and acquire cutting-edge knowledge related to the diagnosis, treatment, and research of swallowing disorders, thereby further advancing the development of rehabilitation medicine in our city and offering robust support for the high-quality growth of Nanjing’s healthcare sector.
