　　The meeting was chaired by Gao Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital. The first item on the agenda was a choral performance of the hospital anthem, after which the official commencement of the meeting was announced.

 

 

　　Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, presented the hospital’s work summary for the first half of 2024. She noted that, during this period, the entire hospital worked in close collaboration, rising to numerous challenges and achieving significant accomplishments. By strengthening management to enhance quality and leveraging quality to build a strong brand, the hospital has remained on a path of sustainable, high‑quality development, yielding a series of encouraging results.

The hospital is operating smoothly and effectively, with steady progress amid stability.

The Qinhuai Campus has added an HDU ward and a Traditional Chinese Medicine rehabilitation ward.

New technologies and projects have been refined and are now routinely implemented within the hospital.

The number of patients receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy and rehabilitation therapy increased year over year.

　　Director Xiao Feng of the Medical Affairs Department summarized the first-half medical quality‑control efforts, highlighting four major innovations, five areas of continued improvement, and six notable achievements. These included expanding the scope of the quality‑control reporting system, reviewing quality‑control briefs, and refining the hospital‑department two‑tier quality‑control framework, among other specific quality‑control measures. She stated that in the second half of the year, the Medical Affairs Department will work across the entire hospital to address existing quality‑control weaknesses, consolidate strengths, and formulate targeted strategies to ensure the successful completion of all annual quality‑control objectives.

 

 

　　Director Liu Yafeng of the Jiangning Campus delivered a statement on the campus’s work for the second half of the year. He reviewed the first‑half performance across key areas—including clinical indicators, departmental management, medical record documentation, and interdepartmental collaboration—highlighting both notable achievements and identified shortcomings. Looking ahead, he pledged to remain committed to a patient‑centered service philosophy, pursue continuous quality improvement with unwavering diligence, and foster team cohesion. She reported on the key priorities for the coming months, including strengthening the nursing management system, implementing evidence-based management practices, enhancing staff training, conducting hierarchical assessments, developing a training program for nursing assistants at our hospital, advancing the digitalization of nursing services, and refining and enforcing performance evaluation standards for nursing personnel. 　　Gao Hongliang, head of the Rehabilitation Treatment Center, delivered a statement on the center’s plans for the second half of the year. He outlined the progress in establishing the Rehabilitation Treatment Center and its Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Department, as well as the implementation of new rehabilitation technologies and equipment. He then presented the center’s key priorities for the remainder of the year, focusing on strengthening departmental infrastructure, fostering a sense of teamwork, enhancing research capabilities, improving service quality, reinforcing medical record management, and leveraging the center’s distinctive rehabilitation strengths.

　　

 

　　Wang Xia, head of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center, delivered a statement on the center’s plans for the second half of the year. She began by reporting on the construction of a new large‑scale hyperbaric chamber at the Qinhuai Campus, followed by an overview of the preparations for the 33rd Annual Scientific Conference of the Chinese Society of Hyperbaric Medicine. She also outlined the center’s work plan for the second half of the year, covering areas such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy safety and quality, and the exploration of an integrated model that combines hyperbaric wards with the treatment center. She expressed her hope that, through collaboration between the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center and various clinical departments, more patients will receive more precise and targeted care.

　　 In the second half of 2024, we will continue to strengthen our academic disciplines and talent development, introduce more advanced medical equipment, and enhance the hospital’s overall strength and clinical capabilities.
