On the morning of October 18, 2024, Dean Tang Wei and a delegation from the School of Acupuncture and Tuina (School of Rehabilitation Medicine) of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited Nanjing Zijin Hospital to conduct enterprise visits for job expansion and to sign an agreement establishing a practical teaching base.

Accompanied by Nanjing Zijin Hospital’s President Ge Jiangping, Executive Vice President Gao Zhiqiang, and other hospital leaders, a delegation led by Dean Tang Wei of the School of Acupuncture and Tuina (School of Rehabilitation Medicine) at Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center, the Rehabilitation Treatment Hall, the Intensive Care Unit with High Dependency, and several other specialized departments.

At the conclusion of the visit, everyone gathered in the conference room for a roundtable discussion. Dean Ge Jiangping delivered a welcome address, and Gao Hongliang, head of the Rehabilitation Therapy Center, provided an overview of the hospital.

Dean Tang Wei highly commended the Nanjing Zijin Hospital’s development over the years and expressed his hope to further deepen cooperation in research going forward.

Following the exchange, Ge Jiangping, President of Nanjing Zijin Hospital, and Tang Wei, Dean of the Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s School of Tuina (School of Rehabilitation Medicine), formally signed the agreement to establish a practical teaching base.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the leadership of the Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Tuina College (School of Rehabilitation Medicine) held a symposium with the interns currently enrolled and conducted an inspection of their internship progress.

This signing marks a new chapter in the university–hospital collaboration between Nanjing Zijin Hospital, laying a solid foundation for future efforts in talent development, teaching, and research.
